For over 40 years, Bertelli has been shaping and refining the photographic tradition in funeral art, steadily strengthening the power of its brand. The company has successfully combined meticulous craftsmanship with continuous technological development, always placing quality and service at the forefront. This balance between tradition and innovation has allowed Bertelli to embrace and experiment with the evolution of numerous photographic technologies applied to funeral art.
The first systems for producing photo-ceramics were entirely manual and required many processing stages, from the darkroom to firing. Later came the revolutionary Cromalin system and, subsequently, the direct digital technology.
Today, Bertelli has developed a new direct printing system on porcelain which, while maintaining firing at 900°C, achieves a photographic color quality previously unimaginable, clearly surpassing past standards.
At TANEXPO 2026, visitors will be able to see firsthand and experience the quality of the prints and the astonishing color rendering achieved with this new production process.
Because the last photo should truly be the most beautiful, authentic, and precious to remember.
